Many of our lamps are recognised worldwide and have become accents of interiors thanks to their unique silhouettes, original design, and the exclusivity of limited collections. Each wall lamp is conceived not merely to illuminate, but to breathe life into a space, carrying cultural memory while offering timeless, contemporary design. Every object is handcrafted—a dialogue between ancient traditions and a refined, modern design language. Each wall lamp embodies exclusivity: unique, designer, made to order. Mounted in living rooms, bedrooms, galleries, or corridors, these modern wall lamps provide gentle, considered illumination while standing as design objects in their own right.
Our Wall Lamps and Sconces
Our wall lamps are conceived as living totems—pieces that centre a room, soften its edges, and deepen its calm—yet they remain eminently functional for daily use.
SONIAH is a paradox done with precision: a pure, sun-like disc that is entirely self-sufficient as a single statement, yet unfailingly elevates any interior it enters. The outline is deliberately simple; the surface is alive with hand-sculpted texture. That contrast is the secret—minimal geometry that reads calm from afar, artisanal relief that adds warmth and individuality up close. Designed for true versatility, SONIAH can be mounted on the wall or on the ceiling, so the same language of light can travel across planes and through a project without visual noise.
Materials We Use for Wall Lamps
In practice, our language is shaped by form, texture, color, and story. The form of the object provides its calm architecture; texture invites the hand and slows the eye; colour draws from mineral, earth-borne tones; and story ties the object to memory and place. We pay meticulous attention to materials. We use our signature material ZTISTA (signature “live”material): a hand-applied skin over a supportive frame, blended from recycled cellulose/paper, clay, flax fibre, and wood chips, then sealed for everyday durability. In SONIAH, this tactile surface turns a restrained circle into a living object; subtle irregularities make each lamp truly unique.
How To Choose Wall Lights For Your Home
Begin with the scene. Light is the first instrument of mood, so plan three layers—ambient, task, and accent—and let the sconce carry the accent with real performance. If the room needs both a soft wash and more localised light, you won’t manage without wall lamps: they place light where the body is, without the glare of a bare ceiling source.
We produce three diameters—300, 400, and 500 mm—to tune scale precisely. A single 500 centered above a sofa or console creates a quiet solar focus, the kind of gallery-grade presence that organizes a room. Two identical 300 or 400 placed side by side—or flanking art or a mirror—deliver a balanced, architectural pair. For a nuanced composition, combine all of them as a softly staggered constellation in an entry, along a stair, or on a long wall.
Sconces are the accent makers of a lighting plan, and SONIAH embodies that role while remaining genuinely functional. If your room needs both a gentle wash and localized illumination, wall lamps become indispensable: they place light where the body is, without the glare of a bare ceiling source. In short: a simple form amplified by artisan texture, adaptable on wall or ceiling, composed in three sizes for perfect proportion. It is an accent and instrument at once—modern, exclusive, and unmistakably alive.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the ideal height to install wall lamps in a bedroom or living room?
Aim for the centre of the sconce at 150–165 cm (59–65") above the floor; for bedside use, position the light source roughly 30–36 cm (12–14") above the top of the mattress, within easy reach of the switch.
Can wall lights be used as the main light source in a room?
Sconces excel as accent and ambient layers. In minimal schemes, multiple SONIAH lamps—on walls and ceilings—can create overall illumination; we still recommend layering with ceiling, floor, or table lights for a nuanced scene.
Are your wall lamps dimmable or smart-home compatible?
Most models work with dimmable LEDs when used with a compatible in-line dimmer; smart-home control is easy via a smart plug, which is possible on request. Check the passport for your exact lamp to confirm specifics.
Which bulb types work best with wall lights?
High-quality LED is recommended for longevity, low heat, and warm tone. Follow the product specification for base type and maximum rating.
Do wall lights require professional installation or can I mount them myself?
We recommend a qualified electrician for hard-wired sconces. Fixtures ship with the necessary mounting hardware and a product note for straightforward setup.
Are your wall lamps suitable for bathrooms and outdoor spaces?
Unless a model is explicitly rated for damp/wet locations, assume indoor dry areas only. Share your project specs and we will confirm suitability.
Is your lighting eco-friendly?
Our preferences are natural materials, lasting elements, accountable finishing, and local construction whenever feasible. Most are made-to-order so as to reduce wastage. To get to know about provenance and care, request material details on any product.
Do you offer custom-made lighting?
Yes. Most of the pieces are customizable in size, finish, upholstery and construction updates. Extend your measurements and inspiration, our staff will advise the viability, costs and schedules.
Do you ship lighting internationally?
We offer worldwide shipping to most regions via trusted carriers. We’ll recommend the safest method based on item size, finish, and destination.
How long does delivery take?
There is a variation in the design and customization of lead times. The assets that one has in stock are dispatched faster; the items that have to be made-to-order take time to be manufactured before dispatch ( around 8- 14 weeks ). At check out we will provide a rough window of when we expect it to be ready and update you all the way until it happens.
What warranty do you provide on your lighting?
Yes. We have included limited warranty against manufacturing defects to our lighting. The scope and the period of warranty vary according to the kind of the product; detailed terms can be provided by request.
Can I see the lighting in person before purchasing?
You can view selected pieces by appointment at our studio or partner showrooms, and request finish samples to evaluate color and texture at home. Contact us to plan a visit.
What is your return and exchange policy?
All our pieces are made to order and are final sale. Before shipment, we always document each piece before dispatch to speed up resolution. On delivery, inspect the packaging and item before signing, if anything is damaged, note it with the courier and contact us immediately. Shipments are fully insured by our logistics partners, and they will compensate for transit damage.
