Collection: Seating

Seating

Our seating is a curated field of forms by Victoria Yakusha: edition-made, hand-finished, and composed in the language of live minimalism with a quiet note of animism—objects with presence rather than noise. The range is broad: chairs, armchairs, benches, sofas, stools, ottomans. Upholstery is extensive — linen, wool, and COM available.

Contemporary Seating Furniture Design

Calm silhouettes, softened edges, grounded proportions. In FAINA's philosophy, form is reduced to what the body needs and what the room will keep. You will see the hand of the maker, the grain of wood, the living texture of clay-based composites. Surfaces invite touch but resist trends. The result is luxury that reads quiet at a glance and generous in daily use. Sofas anchor the room without dominating it. Benches bring order to thresholds and dining nooks. Stools stand up to real life at the counter. Every piece carries cultural memory forward—unique yet disciplined, sculptural yet serviceable design.

Types of Seating Furniture

Seating for every room—architectural, animist, and engineered for lasting comfort. Handcrafted in natural, durable materials with customization on request.

Chairs

Our lineup is name-forward and precise: the ZTISTA Chair, hand-sculpted in FAINA's clay signature composite (with cellulose, flax, wood chips) .The GRUN’ Chair reads playful and earthen, its silhouette echoing woodland forms; upholstery in natural tones deepens the animist feel. For a quieter profile, the MOVCHUN Chair holds silence in its contours, pairing to any interior.

Armchairs

Our armchairs are the clearest example of material ecology: an inner paper-fibre frame, ZTISTA layers and natural textiles. The result is a meditative volume with a velvety, 'alive' touch. For example, our GRUN' armchair anchors the space with an earth-to-sky energy, with a grounded base and poised 'ears' (dewlit option available in limited edition). The DOMNA armchair carries a mythical note, referencing prehistoric Trypillian figures — protective, elemental and unmistakably animist. The natural textiles breathe and the covers are removable on select models.

Benches

Benches bring order without noise—linear horizons, softened corners, spans that serve ritual. PLYN Bench (from “flow”) takes its cue from river-worn stones: smooth, organic volumes; perfect at the table, the entry, or the end of a bed. Limited - edition VOLYK bench introduces our signature texture—hand-applied layers over a discreet structure, indoor or protected-outdoor versions available. PAMPUKH Bench continues the language of rounded warmth, adding hospitality where chairs would clutter. Solid oak/ash tops can remain pure or receive a slim upholstered pad.

Sofas

Our PLYN Sofas available in multiple sizes (Standard, Small, XS) rest on hidden plinths; modules scale without breaking the line. TOPTUN Sofa is the totem of the room—primitive outline, disciplined proportions, playful gravitas. Cushioning combines supportive cores with soft wraps. The textile program is extensive linen, wool, hemp–linen canvas, velvets, etc... Select models offer removable slipcovers. COM available. This is luxury understood as longevity: repairable construction, artisan finishing, and eco - materials.

Stools

Stools turn utility into a daily rite. The DUZHYI limited- edition stools available in multiple sizes (Small, Medium, Big) are sculptural perches in ZTISTA—hand-troweled, each one subtly singular. Bases in solid wood deliver stability with a refined edge. seats may be timber, leather-clad, or finished in ZTISTA for that sensorial “alive” touch. In kitchens, ateliers, and bars, these pieces read like small sculptures that happen to be perfect to sit on.

Materials We Use for Our Seating Furniture

In practice, our language is shaped by form, texture, color, and story: form gives each piece its calm architecture; texture invites the hand and slows the eye; color draws from mineral, earth-borne tones; and story ties the object to memory and place. We pay meticulous attention to materials. We use responsible media, natural resources that age well and can be mended if damaged with age as our signature material ZTISTA, strong timbers like oak, ash, and walnut, ceramics, steel, glass, natural fabrics such as linen, wool, cotton…
