TheNADRA Bench / Coffee Table by Victoria Yakusha explores the forces that shape matter beneath the earth’s surface. Pressure, weight and time become the starting points for a sculptural steel piece whose contours bend, fold and open, revealing voids within.
Its irregular silhouette gives steel an unexpected sense of fluidity. Rounded volumes and deep recesses create a changing interplay of light and shadow, offering a different reading from every angle. The spaces within the form are as much a part of its character as the metal itself.
