In the realm of office design, a new paradigm is emerging—one that prioritizes inclusivity and sustainability. Within this space, every element is thoughtfully integrated to foster a sense of calm and enhance productivity, all while minimizing environmental impact. This harmonious blend of advanced technologies, minimalist living, cultural legacy, artisan craftsmanship, eco-friendly materials, and natural elements represents an evolved design ethos.
The main entrance hall has been transformed from a mere transit area into a welcoming haven. The objective was to redefine the space from a pass-through to a secure and inviting environment. This approach to design goes beyond aesthetics, aiming to create a space that is not only pleasing to the eye but also functional and safe. It is a setting meticulously curated for people, designed to evoke cultural appreciation and a connection with nature, to integrate technology and the metaverse, and to encourage a thoughtful, intentional lifestyle.
At the heart of this space is FAINA’s emblematic SONIAH, the Ukrainian word for sunflower, a symbol of Ukraine’s fertile lands. Each SONIAH floor lamp, handcrafted from FAINA’s sustainable material ZTISTA, rises from the floor. These sculptural lamps, with their refined forms, focus on the essential, casting a pure light. Standing at impressive heights of three to four meters, these lamps were meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans over a period of ten months. The integration of technology into our designs is deliberate, as we recognize its significant role in our future.
A central concept was to capture the forward-thinking spirit of Unit Space. This was achieved by installing a transparent glass screen with a digital holographic sculpture at the entrance. This dynamic display showcases a variety of visual images, updated every ten minutes using Big Data, each with a carefully chosen symbolic significance and title. The screen is further enhanced by practical widgets for guests, providing information such as time, date, and weather.

The lobby is equipped with biodynamic lighting that mirrors the natural circadian rhythms of the human body, transitioning through four distinct lighting scenes to match the time of day. The illumination begins with a cooler hue in the morning, gradually warms throughout the day, and becomes warmly lit by evening. The SONIAH lamps, a central feature of the space, house a specialized directional laser installation that serves as interactive lighting. Research indicates that this dynamic lighting can reduce eye fatigue and potentially enhance productivity. Additionally, the lighting design accentuates the interior’s architectural details and conjures the ambiance of a forest at dusk, with plant shadows dancing across the walls and floor.
The reception area features a prominent glass panel that functions as an advanced artificial intelligence interface named Tina. This AI system is capable of responding to any inquiry posed by visitors. The integration of this UNIT system exemplifies our commitment to blending technology seamlessly with our ethos of living minimalism, cultural artisanship, and sustainable design.
