The TOVSHA Coffee Table takes its name from the Ukrainian word tovshcha, meaning a dense stratum of earth or water. Created using a unique technique that brings together mineral composite and glass, it evokes a relic preserved beneath the surface.
Its dark, irregular body recalls earth hardened into stone, while a thick layer of glass rests above it like still water. The meeting of solid and translucent materials gives TOVSHA a sense of depth, revealing the textured form beneath its surface.
